Place for Play is an Erasmus+ KA2 Cooperation Partnerships in youth
The project is called Youths’ Creative Solutions for Placemaking for Encounters at Children’s Playgrounds and one of its main results will be the empowerment of young present and future professionals in architecture, design and culture management, urban development and other related disciplines to build curriculum in an international environment in an ever more globalised market by giving an international dimension to their present or future careers or profile. This is a Cooperation Partnership between partners from Norway, Malta, France, Belgium, Turkey, Italy and Sweden.
Place for Play will engage young people to generate ideas and to present a model for the future of children’s playgrounds using new approaches applying their creativity in the solution-finding process and in their presentation of ideas to authorities and their communities.
The project will establish a new methodology for improving young professionalism and youth employability through a learning path leading to the development of ideas built on research and interdisciplinary cooperation, cross border creative sharing process, and active citizenship and community consultation.
The partner organisations, youth leaders/educators and youths will engage with policy makers and stakeholders and with their respective communities to bring them all together in a local or regional forum of discussion. Partners will set up local teams to stage social dialogue and community consultation projects, most of the partners using online collaborative tools.
