Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership for VET
The Objectives of the EGIDEV project are to develop:
– An Educational Game in Digital Entrepreneurship for VET-Students, based on the formal training requirements in entrepreneurship and EntreComp model, that will enable them LEARN and TEST business ideas in area of digital technologies,
– Digital resources: game modules, business tools, video tutorials and scenarios for digital startups to play out in entrepreneurship education and
based on these elements to help VET-teachers and students in teaching and learning entrepreneurship by playing.
These objectives are linked to these priorities:
HORIZONTAL PRIORITY – ADDRESSING DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION THROUGH DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL READINESS, RESILIENCE AND CAPACITY
VET-students can contribute to digital transformation in EU:
– As specialists in the field of software, computers and communications
– Or as digital entrepreneurs
That’s why the EGIDEV is designed to help the VET-students become digital entrepreneurs and monetize their digital knowledge and skills acquired at school. The EGIDEV’s focus is on priority areas like Fintech, HLS, AI, Adtech, Edtech, Blockchain, Robotics, Cybersecurity, IoT, Services based on data.
VET: INCREASING ATTRACTIVENESS OF VET
Students prefer a game-based learning. EGIDEV is designed so that teachers can embed it into entrepreneurship curricula.
Thus, they can make lessons more attractive, useful and funny. The game will be distributed in Open Access format, it has potential to increase the attractiveness of VET for pupils, youth, people with fewer opportunities and adults in their life-long- learning journey.
VET: Contributing to innovation in vocational education and training
The game is innovative itself. It is designed as an Event-Driven-Process-Chain. The process approach allows to embed the game in any VET-school’s entrepreneurship curriculum, thus, spreading the innovation to VETs.
